A convenient quick-connect angle valve with excellent vacuum performance
Angle valves are commonly used in bathroom applications and are often installed in confined spaces such as walls and wall corners. However, during positioning adjustments and overall assembly or disassembly, it is often inconvenient to disconnect the angle valve from the water pipe beforehand. Therefore, there is a need to develop a quick-connect angle valve.
The present utility model addresses the technical problems existing in the prior art, aims to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art, and provides a quick-connect angle valve that is convenient to use and delivers excellent negative-pressure performance. To solve the aforementioned technical problems, the present utility model adopts the following technical measures: a quick-connect angle valve comprising a knob, a valve core, sealing elements, an angle-valve body, a universal nut, an internal-hexagon screw, a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring, a connector retaining ring, and a quick connector; the knob is connected to the valve core via a screw; the angle-valve body has three ports, with the valve core connected to one of the ports of the angle-valve body by threads, and a sealing element provided at the connection between the valve core and the angle-valve body; the two other ports of the angle-valve body are provided with protrusions, each of which is equipped with at least one annular groove containing a sealing element, and the protrusion is inserted into the end of the universal nut that faces the angle-valve body; the end of the universal nut opposite the angle-valve body is sequentially connected to a hexagonal socket-head screw, a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring, a connector retaining ring, and a quick connector; the third port of the angle-valve body is sequentially connected to a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring, a connector retaining ring, and a quick connector. The outer diameter of the first sealing ring is smaller than the outer diameter of the second sealing ring but larger than the inner diameter of the second sealing ring; the second sealing ring is fixedly connected to the connector retaining ring and is provided with two annular grooves. Two rectangular flats are milled on the side wall of the universal nut near the angle-valve body, and these two rectangular flats are arranged opposite each other. The connector retaining ring is provided with multiple positioning holes, and the quick connector is provided with a notch at the end close to the connector retaining ring.
Compared with the prior art, the aforementioned quick-connect angle valve has the following advantages:
1. Quick-Connect Angle Valve: This new-type, quick-connect universal angle valve features a universal nut that allows it to rotate through multiple angles. When the position of the angle valve needs to be adjusted, there is no need to disconnect it from the water pipe; the valve can be directly repositioned at various angles.
2. Quick-connect angle valves and universal swivel angle valves are equipped with quick-connect fittings, enabling fast installation and removal of the valve and water pipe for convenient and efficient operation.
3. Quick-connect angle valves and quick-connect universal angle valves achieve better sealing performance by incorporating two sealing rings of different diameters.
4. The quick-connect angle valve and the quick-connect swivel valve both feature two sealing rings secured by a retaining ring, which enhances the clamping force of the fitting and improves sealing performance. In addition, the precise fit between these two components effectively prevents metal fatigue that can result from prolonged use of a single retaining ring.
